How do porta potties work?

Porta potties work through a self-contained waste system. When you use the toilet, waste drops into a holding tank at the base containing a chemical solution (the blue liquid). This solution breaks down waste, controls odors, and kills bacteria. The tank typically holds 60-70 gallons and is emptied by service trucks that vacuum out the contents and replenish the chemicals. Unlike traditional toilets, porta potties don't require plumbing connections—they're completely portable and can be placed anywhere accessible by delivery truck.
